Special Rates for Big Diamond Raceway at the Comfort Inn Pine Grove

The Comfort Inn – Pine Grove has a special rate for people who are going to Big Daimond Raceway. The rate is $60.50 plus tax and includes our deluxe continental breakfast. We also have an indoor pool, fitness center, high speed wireless internet and plenty of parking for trailers.

Individuals can just call the hotel direct and mention “Big Diamond” to get the rate. If you happen to need a group of rooms blocked together, just let us know.

BIG DIAMOND SPECIAL OFFER
(Wednesday, July 01, 2009) - ~ This Friday evening for the Georgie Stevenson Memorial, those fans presenting their grandstand rain check from this past Friday night will need to only present an additional $5. The regular price of admission for the show is $18. The 30th Annual Georgie Stevenson Memorial (sponsored this season by Philly Pretzel Factory) is this Friday July 3. The 358 Modified main event will go a distance of 40-laps and pays $4000 to win. The Sportsman class competes in an extra distance 25-lap feature, awarding the $800 first place check. (Wednesday, June 24, 2009) - ~ Josh Richards finally finished what he had started at Big Diamond Raceway. One year after leading more than half of the three-eighths-mile oval's inaugural World of Outlaws Late Model Series event but falling short of victory, the 21-year-old sensation from Shinnston, W.Va., returned to the track on Wednesday night and pulled off a late-race pass of Gettysburg, Pa.'s Jeremy Miller to win the Jack Rich Inc. ‘Coal Country 40.' “This is definitely better than last year,” said Richards, who finished third after leading laps 1-29 of the tour's 2008 ... more


WORLD OF OUTLAW LATE MODELS HOPING FOR A NICE WEATHER FORECAST THIS WEDNESDAY AT BIG DIAMOND RACEWAY...BY GARY LILECK
(Sunday, June 21, 2009) - ~ Weather has been the deciding factor recently at Big Diamond Raceway. Three of the last four Friday evening programs have been canceled due to rain. The speedway hopes for nicer weather this Wednesday June 24, as the World of Outlaw Late Models return for their second ever venture to the three-eighth's mile clay oval. The "Great Northern Tour" stops in Forestville PA, and Jack Rich Inc. (Frackville) will present the Coal Country 40 for the World of Outlaw Late Models.
